I am currently a senior matriculating at Emory University and can't believe I'm so soon to graduate! My name translates to "seashore" in Hindi, hence the background (I also do love the beach). I am a pre-medical student and will graduate with a B.S. in Biology along with a Predictive Health minor and have enjoyed my college experience very much. I volunteer for the Emory EMS unit here at school, volunteer at a Down Syndrome clinic, and also started my own club called "Build On," a non-profit organization that aims to fundraise money to help build schools in third-world countries. Before I move on to pursue my career in medicine, I plan on taking a gap year or two and will focus my interests on clinical research, public health initatives, and quality-care mangement throughout hospitals back at home as an Academic Associate at Long Island North Shore Hospital. Aside from my pre-professionalism hobbies, I par-take in intramural tennis here at school and have become particularly interested in weightlifting this past year. However, my deepest passion that has always intrigued me, ever since I wa young, has been cars. Whether it is an American, Japanese, Korean, Indian, German, or a British car brand, I most likely know it, its model year, engine specifications, and how well it has sold. I believe cars are not only so engaging and give such an adrenaline rush to drive, but also contain so much character and say a lot about you as a person. So, come on this journey and explore my autoethnography project on German car culture with me!
